Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) 92-mile FTTB network.

Atlantic Engineering Group Participation

AEG designed and built a core fiber network for the Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) and a subsequent 92-mile FTTB addition to the existing fiber network. CDE is using World Wide Packets FTTP electronics.
- Current project involves addition of centralized traffic control over existing and new plant.
- Designed and constructed a 92-mile addition to their existing fiber network for this municipal utility to compete for video, data, and voice services.
- Previously designed and constructed existing core fiber network.

Project II

Clarksville Department of Electricity FIBER TO THE PREMISES 800 mile network

Atlantic Engineering Group Participation

Atlantic Engineering has been selected to design, construct and turn up this 800 mile network to provide CDE 100% capability to interact with their customers for electric utility and telecommunications services. Atlantic Engineering will provide all engineering, project management, materials management and construction both aerial and underground for this project. Our technical services division will be responsible for all splicing, testing and network turn up to the building. This FTTP build incorporates the previous fiber to the business (FTTB), traffic control projects and the core fiber ring already complete. CDE will utilize World Wide Packets electronics for this build.
